What can I say? The old user interface deserves a solid 5 stars, while the new one (Virusdie generation 5) only gets 3 from me at this point.

To sum it up, the previous UI was packed with awesome features and was quite stable. On the flip side, the new UI has some neat additions like database scanning, cleanup options, and revamped group management, but these are exclusive to the new version. It feels like it’s still in beta, maybe even earlier—definitely not ready for prime time yet. It’s all fresh but still a bit soggy.

I really hope the team hurries up to enhance the 5th gen UI beta and get it to a stable release soon because I’m itching for those features!

As for performance, it does what it says on the tin. Nothing more, nothing less. And yeah, the GUI is super user-friendly, even for those just starting out.

So, why the low rating?
I've checked out a bunch of sites and I'm not too happy with the reports and overall reliability. In many instances, the malware sticks around, redirection issues pop up, and harmful code still gets injected into the database. We found those in ********* {name stripped so no one thinks I am marketing them}, but Virusdie doesn't catch them, so we end up having to verify the site with other tools or clean it up ourselves.

Maybe I'm off base for most folks, but for me, it's gonna take a bit to really trust this product.
